I bought this book because I am a great fan of Kenneth Lamug's drawings - and they did not let me down - whimsical, lovely, and hilarious.The bonus for me was the story which is made up of a series of thoughts and observations that accompany each drawing. The words are simple yet profound.
I've read this book a couple of times, and I know I'll read it again, it's that kind of book. The message is for kids and adults. It would make a great bedtime story, a wonderful story time story, or a discussion starter at a corporate meeting or a fancy dinner party. As you can tell, I like this book a LOT!!!

This book is highly recommended! All the illustrations are well done. I bought 3 and gave it to my nephew and niece and they love it.

Kenneth Kit Lamug has written and illustrated a simple, charming little book about a plain brown box. What can you do with a plain brown box? Everything imaginable! Young children will be inspired to experiment with their own empty boxes. And adults will appreciate the basic simplicity of this book.
I typically do not leave reviews, even though I have purchased hundreds of items on . But I must say this book is a true gem. Easy to read, but keeps you and your children engaged and wanting to see what's on the next page. The subtle colors are easy on the eyes, as well as the larger font makes for an easy read.
All in all, I am pleased with my purchase, and look look forward to future books from this author/illustrator.
This story is very creative and I used it in my classroom when the children were using their imaginations. It was a big hit and I enjoyed watching the children use ideas they heard about when they had free play.
I ordered this book because it was shown as a recommendation to another children's book I was purchasing. I think this book will be a good lead in to another book that uses a cardboard box and a little boys imagination. This book did not disappoint. It is well written and rhymes in a sing song kind of way. The pictures are very creative and go well with the story.
